We dream
Once you book a session, we jump on the phone for a chat. I get to know your personality and the shots on your wishlist, then guide you on outfits, location and planning around the kids’ schedules.

We go with the flow
Bad weather? Did your toddler fall over and cut their lip the day before the shoot? Life happens, and I’m always willing to make a plan B. You have my mobile, so we’re in touch before shoot day.

We don't even notice the camera
On the day, there’s plenty of time for everyone to get comfortable in front of the camera. It’s all fun and games as I gently guide you. And did I mention there are snack breaks too?

We pick your favourite shots
You receive a gallery of the best shots that are edited and ready to go, then you choose your favourites. It takes about 2 weeks to prepare the full gallery, but you’ll get a sneak peek within 48 hours.

Mini Sessions

Regularly capture those milestones you want to remember. This express option allows you to update your family photos in an affordable way.

Family Sessions
maximum 8 people

A fun session that gives you a variety of individual and group shots. You have up to two hours, so there’s plenty of time for everyone to relax and be themselves as we capture the shots on your wishlist.
Inclusions:
- up to 2 hours session time
- 10 x high-res images of your choice on a USB
- Four 5x7 inch matt framed prints
Add-ons:
- Extra USB: $20
- Extra digital files gallery: $30 each
- Extra family members : $50 each
- Entire client gallery of high-res files - $1000 (includes $550 session fee)
Extended Family Session
$1200
Get the grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles together. We’ll capture photos of the whole family and each individual family group, plus any other combinations you would like.
Inclusions:
- up to 2 hours session time
- All proofed hi-res images from your session on a USB
- Three 8x10 inch prints
- Six 5x7 inch matt framed prints
Add-ons:
- Extra USB: $20
- Longer session time: $50 per hour
- Photo Book - $200 (includes design and proofing option before production)

Who's coming on photo day?
You and the kids
In addition to full family sessions that allow plenty of time for play and a variety of shot ideas, I also have an affordable mini shoot option for keeping your photos up to date.
The whole gang
Capture three or even four generations together. These sessions are the perfect way to get the whole family together – bring a picnic and make an occasion of the shoot.
The nitty gritty
To get the most out of our session, think about these four things before our ‘get to know you’ call:
- Your wishlist of shots
- Where in your home you will display your images (this helps with outfits and location)
- The style and setting that matches your personality
- Any props you want to include
Then that’s all the thinking you need to do! Based on this information, I can help you to select a location, plan your outfits and lock in the best time of day for your photos during the call. This planning session is included in every package.
I send you outfit information based on the type of shoot you are doing and the location (this includes colours that work well, what not to wear and changes of clothes). You have my mobile number once you’ve made a booking, which means you can lay outfit options on your bed and text me a photo. This helps so much with the decision-making process!
Of course! I have a little black book of special spots all over Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast. To work out the right location, we start with a style that suits you (think urban, country, home, beach or park). Keep in mind that when kids are involved, it’s best to stick to one setting where they are comfortable being themselves, such as a park. Please also let me know if mobility is an issue for any of the participants.
I am willing to travel to special locations like the family holiday house, but please note that a surcharge does apply to locations that are more than 30km outside of the Brisbane CBD.
We can capture gorgeous photos at any time of day. But either early morning or around sunset will give you the absolute best light (this isn’t as much of a consideration if we are shooting in your home). If we’re shooting at sunset, I’ll work out the expected time of sunset based on the time of year, and then allow plenty of buffer time for things like traffic, so we don’t miss that gorgeous light.
Please don’t stress about this! I have so many tricks up my sleeve to wrangle kids of all ages, and will do or say whatever it takes to get them onboard. It is perfectly normal for children to take a while to warm up during the session, and I will adapt to them on the day. If you are having a late afternoon shoot, we can also chat about nap strategies to make sure the little ones are not too tired.
I do this to keep the packages affordable, as many people only want a few photos and don’t want to pay for the whole gallery.
The base selection of photos included in every package allows you to get a variety of photos to put on your wall and share with loved ones.
Anything extra is up to you! While there is the option to add on extra images to your package, there is ZERO pressure to do so. If you do decide you want extra photos, you have the option to purchase one or two, or get the whole lot for a set capped price.
